Whale Watching in Hervey Bay is considered to be the best place in the world for seeing the humpback Whales. Unlike most other places, the whales do not simply pass by but enter the bay and stay there to rest and play. Being extremely curious, they often approach the whale watching vessels and put up a display of jumps and dives as if they intentionally try to please the human spectators as much as possible!

Take a drive along the Tourist Drive. Stroll through Arkarra Lagoons a bird watchers delight, and feed the ducks, swans, fish and turtles. Visit the Art Gallery or the many galleries displaying the work of local artists.

Take a walk along the Urangan Pier, stroll along the boardwalk and jetty at Urangan Harbour or visit the Hervey Bay Historical Museum & Pioneer Village.
